Fay Lee Thung
Fay began practicing yoga at the age of eighteen when she moved to Boston to earn her BFA Acting degree at Emerson College. She knew that she needed an outlet to check in with herself and de-stress from the demanding days of schoolwork and the fast-paced city environment. Fay started out trying methods of Vinyasa Yoga, specifically Pranavayu and Jivamukti, which eventually led her to become a daily Ashtanga Yoga practitioner. Now she feels that her day is incomplete if she does not step on the mat.
Finding yoga was truly a life changing experience, and Fay realized the importance of sharing this practice with others. This mindset inspired her to become a certified Pranavayu Yoga teacher with founder David Magone. She began her teaching career at Emerson College: teaching group classes in the Fitness Center as well as working individually with both Emerson Soccer and Emerson Baseball. Fay Lee’s classes are fun, challenging, and energetic; they will stretch your limits and ask you to dig deeper to find inner strength. Fay Lee aims to have her classes be open to everyone because she believes yoga opens the door for what everyone needs. Her goal is for her students to leave classes feeling stronger, balanced, and having a better understanding of themselves.
