Where are you located, and how do I join?
We are located at 547 Columbus Avenue in the South End. To join, sign-up on our web site, send us an email, or just show up at the studio. We'll have you burning up in no time!
I’ve never enjoyed exercise. Why BURN?
Working out by yourself does get boring and grinding on the treadmill week after week just plain stinks. That’s why we offer innovative, workout experiences in a group setting that are constantly evolving to change the way people think about fitness.
I have never taken classes like these before. Can I do it, or should I do a 1:1 class beforehand?
It really depends on your fitness level but the majority of people do fine in their first class. The workout is challenging and can be pretty intense, but we do offer modifications and proper coaching to ensure that everyone can participate in our classes.
If you do have a severe medical condition, we recommended that you consult with a physician or consult with us to find out if a 1:1 class is first needed to assess your fitness level.
Do I need to arrive early for my first class?
Yes, please arrive at least 10 minutes before class to ask any additional questions that you have and fill out the necessary paperwork if needed. If you show up late, you may lose that class.
Can I take more than one class per day?
Yes, both Per Class and Unlimited members are allowed to take up to 3 classes per day. All of our BURN classes differ from each other and will challenge your bodies in various ways.
Do you have changing rooms and lockers?
We have changing rooms and lockers to secure your personal belongings. We do provide complimentary lock loaners, but feel free to bring your own lock if you prefer. We also have a private bathroom with a shower.
What should I bring to class?
Wear comfortable work-out clothes. If you are taking a Bike BURN class, bring either your SPD-compatible cycling shoes or sneakers. If you have your own Yoga mat, feel free to bring it but we do provide mats.
Feel free to bring your own hydration drink but we do have bottled water and energy drinks for sale. We also have filtered water to fill up your own water bottle.
If you tend to perspire a lot, no worries... we provide workout towels at no extra charge.
We do ask that there is no use of cell phones during classes. If it is absolutely necessary to bring your phone and something comes up and you have to take a call, please just do so respectfully.
Is it necessary to reserve a spot in class before I show up?
If you are in the neighborhood and really have the urge to workout, we'd love for you to drop by and see if there are any available spots for an upcoming class. Some classes, however, will sell out in advance. As such, we highly recommend making a reservation for a class if you want a guaranteed spot in the class. Reservations can be made up to 2 weeks in advance using our online reservation system.
Is there parking at the studio?
There is metered parking (and limited visitor parking spots) available near our studio. There are also a couple of Hubway bike stations close to our studio.
